“Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It’s a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.”
What This Is.
As a clinician, wife, friend, and sister I am passionate about connection, healthy relationships, and embracing our diversity. It is my goal to provide safe spaces where you can come and express the fullness of who you are while exploring your goals to achieve holistic wellness. I believe this can happen in a variety of ways through therapy, wellness events, coaching, and more.
Often it is our behaviors or the behaviors of others that has an impact on us and propels us to seek change and/or healing. I believe in supporting the whole individual while being aware of the systems in play that impact that individual. Growth happens through connection.
So let's connect whether through therapy, support group, event, collaboration, or workshop!

**Under Supervision and Direction**
I obtained valuable experience working at an Atlanta based center, where I provided counseling to individuals, children, and couples who have experienced trauma, PTSD, domestic violence, addictions, grief, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. I have worked with young adults at a homeless shelter who have complex trauma and are experiencing difficulties in their life’s transitions including, suicidality, depression, mood disorders, and grief. In addition I also have worked with children and adolescents in the foster care system to provide community-based behavioral health services. Most recently, I obtained experience working as a school based therapist. These experiences have all greatly impacted me and shaped my experience as a clinician.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Georgia State University. I then went on to obtain my Master of Arts in Counseling from Richmont Graduate University where I gained training in integrating spirituality in counseling.
I am under the supervision of Rayvene Whatley, LPC, MAC, CPCS and Direction of Dr. Janelle Peifer, Ph. D.
